You plan to restore and old property; an old wall in need of repair, or you’re considering an extension? With clayey soil and straw you can prepare a daub mixture, a natural material, easy to obtain, pleasant to work with, and financially advantageous. With Michel, a true country person, you’ll discover a local and ancestral skill in a friendly atmosphere. The workshops take place on site in l’Orne or in la Manche.

PROGRAMME :

- Introduction to the basic techniques of restoration using daub
- Taking part in the renovation of an old building or in the construction of a building: you will be taken through all the stages of the renovation with the advice and help of a professional: placing the wattle, making the daub by stamping in it with your feet, applying the daub and smoothing.

Minimum age of participants: 10.
